Oh what joy to begin my walk to work only to see a sign on the corner building that Defonte’s Italian Deli, the one that’s been in Brooklyn for over 80 years, is coming to Gramercy. I won’t even have to cross the street to enjoy their “Sinatra Special” steak pizzaiola.
